Has anyone played Marvel Ultimate Alliance? IF SO... I have a 7 yr old nephew that really wants that game and my question is... would it be too difficult for him? is it fun?

Yes I have and it is fun. the main plot is all the Marvel super heroes team up against Doctor Doom along the way you fight others enemies from the Marvel comics. You can choose a team of four super heroes that you have unlocked. It is kind of hard but Witha little persistence it can be done.
