What does the "x" on screen mean in the james bond quantum of solace wii video game?

Question: What does the "x" on screen mean in the james bond quantum of solace wii video game?

(Posted by: vonStrauss on 2009-01-07 16:18:50)

When playing the James Bond Quantum of Solace video game for Nintendo Wii, there appears an X sometimes when one is shooting/ about to shoot, and while the X is there, you can't shoot. The X is orange- yellow, and replaces the aiming circle/ target that you would use to aim at your target. I'm wondering what this X means and how it can be avoided. I appreciate your time!

At least in Call of Duty when you see the red X is because the wiimote isn't aimed at the sensor bar. I can only assume that its the same in QoS.

That means that the Wii remote's communication to the Wii sensor bar is being blocked by something. It could be because you are too close to the screen, or that some furniture or your leg is in the way. To avoid this happening again make sure your sensor bar is facing towards you and you are holding the Wii Remote with good posture.
