Question: Can you play video games on a lcd tv.?

I own a PS3 and want to buy a 37' LCD tv. But I would like to know ahead of time is it safe. I don't want to spend the $$ to find out I bought the wrong tv the hard way.

He is correct, because plasma screens were used up and there life expectancy of the tv was shorted surprisingly by playing video games thats why they switched to LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) which is much better for video games so yes buy the Hdtv for your ps3 that is what i play on after recently my plasma broke and i found out some capacitors broke.

HI I am a tech work on lcd tvs they are pretty safe plamas are a different story.

Of course you will be able to play your ps3 on it! LCD's are the best to play games on and watch movies. They provide great quality too! Also, connect you ps3 with HDMI, you will be blown away by the quality of it!
