Question: If i bought a nintendo ds video game but the plastic was already off, but they had some sticker covering ...?

Ok i bought a "new " game from EB games, or electronics boutique here in canada and it wasnt in that tight plastic wrap like most games. it was cooking mama for nintendo ds. anyways does that mean it was opened or even used? do some places sell the games without the plastic wrap? all it had was a circle sticker on the side of it saying if torn and u wanna return u only have 14 days to do so, and also a sticker on the front with the price on it. please give me ur input, thanks.

I'm suspicious and would say it was proably not new. Chances are they tried to sell it that way because it is worth more new. I seriously never heard of a game not coming in the plastic wrapping for DS. I know in some stores like EB they take the PS2 and Xbox and other CD games out and just lock up the CDs but never heard of it being done with DS. Also I think they would still keep it in the plastic case to protect it. After all they put the CDs in a sleeve and so I don't think taking the plastic would take away any room. Since they have to put it in something anyway.
